By accessing our website, booking an appointment, or receiving treatment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
2. About Us
Thomas Wynn-Jones (BSc, BOst) is a fully qualified and registered osteopath holding dual registration with:
- The General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) — United Kingdom
- The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) — United Arab Emirates
We provide professional osteopathic care in accordance with the standards set by both regulatory bodies.
3. Appointments and Bookings
3.1 How to Book
Appointments can be made via:
- The online contact form at thomaswynn-jonesosteopath.com/contact
- WhatsApp: +971 505 333 669
- Email: thomaswynnjones@gmail.com
- Phone: +971 54 544 5399
3.2 Confirmation
Your appointment is confirmed only upon receipt of a confirmation message from us. Please ensure your contact details are accurate at the time of booking.
3.3 Punctuality
Please arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session, with the full appointment fee still applicable.
3.4 New Patients
New patients are asked to arrive 10 minutes early or complete any pre-consultation forms sent in advance. This allows adequate time for a full medical history review before your session begins.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
4.1 Notice Required
We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. This allows us to offer the slot to another patient in need.
4.2 Late Cancellations
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the appointment cost.
4.3 No-Shows
Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notice will result in the full appointment fee being charged.
4.4 Repeated Cancellations
Patients who repeatedly cancel or fail to attend appointments without adequate notice may be asked to prepay for future bookings.
4.5 Cancellation by Us
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your appointment, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer an alternative date or a full refund of any prepaid fees.
5. Fees and Payment
5.1 Fee Schedule
Current appointment fees are available upon request. Fees may vary depending on the type of consultation (initial, follow-up, online, paediatric, animal osteopathy, etc.).
5.2 Payment
Payment is due at the time of the appointment unless an alternative arrangement has been agreed in advance. We accept cash and bank transfer. Please confirm accepted payment methods when booking.
5.3 Insurance
We are not currently a direct billing provider. If your health insurance covers osteopathy, we can provide an itemised receipt for you to submit a reimbursement claim directly to your insurer. It is your responsibility to confirm coverage with your insurance provider prior to your appointment.
5.4 Price Changes
We reserve the right to amend our fee schedule at any time. Any changes will be communicated in advance and will not affect appointments already confirmed at a previous rate.
6. Medical Disclaimer and Scope of Practice
6.1 Not a Substitute for Medical Advice
Osteopathy is a form of complementary healthcare. The information provided on our website and during consultations is for general informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or a treatment plan and should not replace advice from your GP or other qualified medical professional.

While we strive to provide the highest standard of care, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes or results. Individual responses to osteopathic treatment vary depending on the nature and severity of the condition, general health, and lifestyle factors.
7. Patient Responsibilities
By booking and attending an appointment, you agree to:
- Provide full, accurate, and up-to-date information about your health, medical history, and medications
- Inform us of any changes to your health or circumstances between appointments
- Follow any advice or aftercare guidance provided during your consultation
- Treat all staff with courtesy and respect
- Notify us promptly if you are unwell, particularly with any contagious illness, prior to your appointment

For patients under the age of 18, consent must be provided by a parent or legal guardian prior to treatment commencing.
9. Online Consultations
We offer remote consultations via video call or phone for patients who are unable to attend in person. Please note the following:
- Online consultations are suitable for initial assessments, follow-ups, and advice, but physical examination and hands-on treatment are not possible remotely
- It is your responsibility to ensure a stable internet connection and a private, suitable environment for your online session
- Online consultations are subject to the same cancellation and payment policies as in-person appointments
